Elyse E. Rogers has made a career of providing legal services to closely held businesses and owners, other individuals, and the trust departments of financial institutions. Her areas of concentration include taxation with an emphasis on estate planning, business planning, wealth transfer, and estate and trust administration. When necessary, Ms. Rogers provides litigation services for trust and estate matters. Ms. Rogers provides representation regarding the ongoing concerns of small and medium sized businesses, including the purchase and sale of businesses, contract negotiation and review, employment matters, and commercial transactions.

Ms. Rogers is a frequent lecturer and author on various tax, trust, estate, wealth transfer, and business matters for professional continuing legal and other educational organizations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, and various Estate Planning Councils. She is a former adjunct professor at The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, teaching Federal Estate and Gift Tax.

Ms. Rogers was presented with the President's Award of the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1997. She has also received two Special Achievement Awards from that organization for her efforts to develop and finalize the comprehensive Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts Program in Pennsylvania and for tax advice and guidance to the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. She was named one of Pennsylvania's 50 Best Women in Business for 2000 by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. She has been named in Best Lawyers in America for many years in the areas of Taxation and Trusts and Estates. She is also named a Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine in the same areas of practice.

In 2011, Ms. Rogers was named the Best Lawyers' Harrisburg Area Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year. Only a single lawyer in each speciality in each community is so honored each year.

Ms. Rogers served as a trustee of the Pennsylvania Bar Trust Fund and Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund from 1992 - 2000. She is a Fellow of The Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, and served as a Zone Director of that organization from 1999-2002. She served as a member of the Planning Committee of The Pennsylvania State University Annual Tax Conference from 1999 - 2009.
