Daniel L. Sullivan draws upon an exceptional range of legal experience when advising and representing his clients in civil litigation matters. He has litigated cases in Federal Court and in over a dozen Pennsylvania counties, as well as practiced in mediations, arbitrations and administrative proceedings. He is also an experienced appellate attorney and has handled cases in Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Court, Superior Court and Supreme Court, as well as in the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

A Closer Look…

For almost thirty years, Mr. Sullivan has provided litigation counsel and services to individuals, businesses and government entities. In earlier years he practiced extensively in insurance defense cases, with an emphasis in medical malpractice defense. Throughout his career he has also represented personal injury plaintiffs in automobile accidents, product liability and general negligence claims. His more recent practice has focused on sophisticated commercial disputes involving commercial transactions, employment contracts and covenants, trade secrets, and corporate and partnership organizational and control issues. Mr. Sullivan also devotes a significant portion of his current practice to representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in issues arising from the administration of estates and trusts and distribution of estate and trust assets.

Mr. Sullivan works diligently to successfully resolve legal problems and disputes for his clients. His services include pre-litigation counseling and litigation avoidance advice, negotiation and mediation of disputes where appropriate, and trial (jury and non-jury) and appellate proceedings when necessary. His broad courtroom experience includes jury trials, injunction and other equity proceedings, declaratory judgments, class actions, will contests, and all manner of motions practice and oral argument.

Mr. Sullivan graduated with distinction from The Pennsylvania State University and the Dickinson School of Law. He has served as an Advocacy Fellow, teaching trial skills in the Trial Advocacy Program at Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law for over twenty years.

A native of the Pittsburgh area, Mr. Sullivan has lived in Central Pennsylvania for over thirty years with his wife and children.
